Hubby is the Proud Owner of a.........

John Deere Lawn Mower!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yippeee!!!!! We bought a lawn mower last year when we bought the house but it decided to blow up not too long after we got it and it was a horrible situation with the warranty people so we gave up and decided to get a new one this year. I told DH go get whatever you want, so he decided on a John Deere.

Gardening!!!!

This weekend we decided to get the builder issued bushes out of our front flower beds. I have been wanting to do this for a while. Those bushes drive me nuts!!!!!! DH doesn't care what we plant out there so he sent me off to the nursery all by myself. I was a little overwhelmed for about an hour and then finally I started asking some questions and decided to get 5 hydrangea bushes. They are suppose to bloom all summer long so hopefully we will have some very pretty flowers soon.

This is our flower bed with the standard issued bushes after we raked up all the pine straw.
Thank goodness those horrible bushes are gone.

Here are the new hydrangea plants and the new mulch. I am not a fan of pinestraw!!! Hopefully in the coming weeks we will have beautiful flowers.

We did keep the standard issue bushes and re located them to the side of the house. Of course Riley had to make sure everything was squared away with them.
We then fertilized everything and hopefully they will all thrive in there new homes.
Thanks,
Mrs. Dyer

Thoughts!!!

So I know my normal posts are crafts and my 52 week project, which I must say I am really starting to enjoy more and more every week. Its starting to get warmer around her so it will be nice to actually be able to get out into the world and take a few pictures in the outside world. So onto my reason for this post. I never really seem to open up on here but for some reason I feel the need to just get it all out. We have been trying, not avoiding, practicing I don't know what you call it for the past 5 months, with no success. This is becoming harder and harder on me. Everyone says your young it will happen, and I know all of that is true but its so hard to think something you want so bad and you can't have it. Today official marks the start of Cycle #5, I laid there tonight thinking how can I want something so bad and can't have it but yet every month I get this horrible painful reminder that I cant have it. DH tries to be as supportive as possible but sometimes he just can't follow my emotions. We have both agreed to wait until December to go to the DR and ask for help but the closer July gets (back story in a moment) the more worried I get. Ok so let me back up and explain why July is a looming month for me. Last July I was diagnosed with Endometriosis and I had a laporoscopy done and had a large cyst removed. When we went back for the follow up the DR.H told us then that we had a year to get pregnant. I know he can't a stop watch on my Uterus and I know Endo has not technically been linked to infertility but its still a problem. So the closer July gets with no baby the harder all of this becomes. I want more than anything in this world is to give my Husband a baby and I know he is perfectly happy living our life just he way it is and he would never resent me if I cant. I just cant help but wonder would I resent myself. I am really sorry for rambling but I really felt I needed to get that out tonight!!!!!

Week 13 of 52 Week Photo Project!!!!

Well yesterday was my photography class and I must say I did learn a lot so I decided to go outside in the yuck and put my class to the test. We have this tree growing in our backyard and I have no idea what the tree is but its very pretty. Hopefully in the next few weeks we can get everything cleared up back there so you can actually see the tree.

Week 12 of 52 Week Photo Project!!!

We spent the weekend at DH's Uncle's Lake house. It was so much fun. My Father in Law and DH cooked oysters for everyone. It was a great weekend. The lake is not warm enough to get into yet but its definitely a great get away spot. This picture is from the yard looking down on the dock where we spend all of our time when we are down there in the summer. Cant wait to go back soon. Hopefully we will make it for the July 4th party!!!!!!

Now off to watch one of my MOST favorite shows, Army Wives. It's filmed where we grew up so its fun to see all the places they go that I recognize.

I totally suck!!! I know I am so far behind but my allergies have killed me all week and all I have really done is slept. This past weekend I had the luxury of doing a photo shoot with some friends new baby girl. I am very pleased with how they turned out. Here is one of my favorites. I only got one picture of both of their children. Thank goodness it was a good one.

Weekend Crafts!!!!!!

My mom came up this weekend!!!! It was great to get to spend time with her. We had so much fun. A friend of hers has a new granddaughter and wanted some bibs monogrammed so of course me and my mom can't do anything simple. These are just a few pictures that I snagged this morning as she was leaving so they aren't that great but they turned out so cute. We also made this headband and flower for her. I am so excited about all the crafts I have been working on lately. I think we are getting really really close to starting the etsy store. I appreciate everyones support.

Thanks,
Mrs. Dyer

Week 8 of 52 Week Photo Project

This week was Valentines day which was terrific!!!!!! My husband bought me a new lens and I have had a ball playing with it. We were out in the backyard playing fetch with Riley and I just happen to catch a very good picture of her. She is becoming such a fantastic dog. Next Saturday is Advanced class graduation so hopefully she will do well.

Week 7 of 52 Week Photo Project!!!!!!!

I am starting to completely fall in love with photography. I have found some sort of inner peace that is awesome when I am viewing the world through my camera. Its absolutely amazing. We had a warmer day this week so I during my lunch one day I decided to take my camera down to the river and see what I could come up with. This is my favorite of the day. This is one of the coolest bridges. I really hope everyone is enjoying this as much as ME!!!! We are suppose to get some more warm days this week so maybe I will find another cool place to go and take pictures.

Tote Bag

I am so excited that I actually accomplished this bag!!!!!! I am really starting to surprise myself with my sewing skills. Its such a great bag and was super easy to make. I am going to try and make another one and see if this was a fluke or if I acutally can sew.

This is the whole set of items that I have made. The Tote bag, business card/card holder, and key chain. I am very pleased with how it has all turned out. Cant wait to see what else I can whip up.

Card and Bag!!!!

I had some Christmas paper just laying around and decided to make a Christmas card and bag set. It was so simple. I loved it. The bag is big enough to do a piece of jewelry or a gift card or other smaller items. I am also going to try and post a tutorial on how to make this bag. The card is the same criss cross card I made in a former tutorial.
This bag just turned out so FREAKING cute!!!!!!!!

Also very easy to make!!!!
Thank you,
Mrs. Dyer

New hair cut!!!!

I finally broke down and got my hair cut FINALLY!!!!! Of course I never learn you always tell the girl two inches longer than you really want it. It is a bit shorter than I had anticipated but I am really really loving it. My hair has not been this short since I was 5 years old.
This also shows my camera strap cover that I made. I LOVE it so much!!! I hated that stupid black cover. This one is much prettier!!!!!!!

Week 6 of 52 Week Photo Project

SUPER BOWL SUNDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We went to a super bowl party tonight at a friends house and they are big Steelers fans so I decided to make cake pops and a Styrofoam football field to display them on. They didn't come out exactly the way I wanted but I at least got a pretty good picture out of the deal.

Prayers Needed!!!

I am usually not all that personal on here but today I will be. We are in need of some prayers as Nathans Grandmother meets with the surgeon today to discuss what happens next. She has been diagnosed with Breast Cancer. We appreciate all the support. She is the rock of the family. His Grandfather has had so many health issues he was told he would only have a year to live when Nathan was a year old and he is still going strong, but to see something happen to her is hard. Hopefully we will know more soon. I will keep you posted as we know more.
Thanks,
Mrs. Dyer

I am so excited to already be on week 4. I feel like I have already learned so much. My husband also said I wouldn't make it past week 3 and look I did it!!!!!! So in honor of him not believing in my I decided my photo this week would be a funny picture of him.

He was playing Call of Duty and a person was killing him. I just thought it was funny how involved he was.

Week 4 (2)
Here is Riley this picture is heavily edited so I am not going to even bother putting my settings. I just wanted to add her on here. She started advanced training classes yesterday morning. Well tonight we are off to hang out with some friends for the game. Since the Patriots lost last weekend we are now Steelers fans because the Jets have to lose.

Hair Bows!!!!!

So I know lately my blog has been all about my photography projects but I thought I would share with you my new bow venture that I am thinking about starting. I know so many people with little girls that LOVE bows and I see how much they spend on them and I had a light bulb go off. So I am just playing around with the idea for now but we will see what happens.

Week 3 of 52 Week photo project

First of all I would just like to say this project has been so much fun to work on in the past three weeks. I have forced myself to shoot only in manual when taking pictures for this project so that I can really expand what I am doing. Its been so rewarding to look at a picture and be proud of it.
So this week we have had so many things going on I couldn't just pick one picture. We had snow Monday and then a late Christmas get together with my dads family yesterday so I have several pictures for this week.
