Week 5 of 52 Week Photo Project

I took this picture in our backyard while the sun was setting. I happen to see all the colors in the sky out the window and knew I had to go find my camera. Its starting to warm up around here. It was actually 68 degrees today. Soon I will be able to take pictures during the week!!!!!!

This is my newest creation!!!!! I am really excited about the things I am starting to create. I am preparing to start an etsy shop soon. I am truly excited to be able to create things for people.

Prayers Needed!!!

I am usually not all that personal on here but today I will be. We are in need of some prayers as Nathans Grandmother meets with the surgeon today to discuss what happens next. She has been diagnosed with Breast Cancer. We appreciate all the support. She is the rock of the family. His Grandfather has had so many health issues he was told he would only have a year to live when Nathan was a year old and he is still going strong, but to see something happen to her is hard. Hopefully we will know more soon. I will keep you posted as we know more.

Week 4 of 52 Week Photo Project

I am so excited to already be on week 4. I feel like I have already learned so much. My husband also said I wouldn't make it past week 3 and look I did it!!!!!! So in honor of him not believing in my I decided my photo this week would be a funny picture of him.

He was playing Call of Duty and a person was killing him. I just thought it was funny how involved he was.

Here is Riley this picture is heavily edited so I am not going to even bother putting my settings. I just wanted to add her on here. She started advanced training classes yesterday morning. Well tonight we are off to hang out with some friends for the game. Since the Patriots lost last weekend we are now Steelers fans because the Jets have to lose.

Hair Bows!!!!!

So I know lately my blog has been all about my photography projects but I thought I would share with you my new bow venture that I am thinking about starting. I know so many people with little girls that LOVE bows and I see how much they spend on them and I had a light bulb go off. So I am just playing around with the idea for now but we will see what happens.

Week 3 of 52 Week photo project

First of all I would just like to say this project has been so much fun to work on in the past three weeks. I have forced myself to shoot only in manual when taking pictures for this project so that I can really expand what I am doing. Its been so rewarding to look at a picture and be proud of it.

So this week we have had so many things going on I couldn't just pick one picture. We had snow Monday and then a late Christmas get together with my dads family yesterday so I have several pictures for this week.

New CRAFT ROOM!!!!!

Week 2 of 52 week Project

This week has been more of learning how to use my new sewing machine. I have had a great time embroidering things. This picture was a small thing I was trying out and just really like how the picture turned out. We are being told that its going to snow tonight so maybe next weeks picture will be another snow picture. We will see. Hope everyone has a good week.

Week 1 of 52 Week Photo Project

We actually had a somewhat "White Christmas" it snowed the day after Christmas. Riley absolutely loved the snow she hadn't seen snow since Feb so she was very excited to play in it. Nathan was throwing snowballs at her and she actually catching them. This happens to be one I got a picture of.

NEW YEAR!!!!!

Happy New Year!!!!!!! I am so excited to see what 2011 has in store for us. I have recently purchased a new camera and really taken an interest in photography. I also got a new sewing machine for Christmas so we will see what I can turn out. I revamped the craft room yesterday to accommodate all of the new Christmas toys, I will get the new pictures posted soon. I am making it a goal for the new year to be a better blogger in that goal I have also made it a goal of mine to do a 52 week picture project. I am going to take at least one picture a week and edit it and then post it on the blog with the goal of A. becoming a better photographer and B. a better blogger. I really hope that everyone had a good New Years. Heres a cheers to 2011!!!!!
