So here goes the story up til this point. We met 8 years ago through some friends the summer after our freshman year of high school. Pretty much from the day we met we were inseparable. Since we were only 14 there were so many days that summer spent just talking on the telephone. I really think that helped grow our relationship we had to actually talk to each other. We would spend hours on the phone from the moment we got up til the wee hours of the morning. We spent the next year together and then I had a change of heart and decided to pursue other people for a little while (that did not go so well). Eventually by the beginning of our senior year we were back together we spent the next year doing everything high school seniors do pictures, football games, prom and graduation. By the summer of after our senior year we knew we would not be going to the same college. I was attending Coastal Carolina University in Myrtle Beach, SC and he the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC. We knew this would be hard but vowed to try and make it work, but by October it was just too hard so we spent the next two years trying to figure out how to navigate the world of being best friends. That was EXTREMELY hard but we made it work some how. By September 2007 we were back together and better than ever, the only problem was I was back living in Charleston by this point and he still in Columbia but we made the long distance relationship work. On December 31, 2008 Nathan proposed and of course I said yes. 
Then the wedding planning began. That was a terrific process. In June 2009 I made the move to Columbia and we moved into our first apartment together. That was a fun experience that brought us very close together. In December 2009 we got our first puppy Riley Grace Dyer the love of our lives. 
In April 2010 we purchased our first home together. Our house is in Elgin, SC which is about 20 minutes NE of Downtown Columbia. Its 4 bedrooms 2 1/2 baths with a great fenced in back yard for the puppy who is now 65 pounds. 
On May 15, 2010 we said our vows and became husband and wife 
Now we have been married for 38 days and are starting to settle into married life and that is where my blog begins telling you all about us and being married. I hope to post all sorts of things from the projects in the house to craft projects I make (I totally love to craft), to fun adventures we have as a married couple.
